Jae Minard
I work in documentary and editorial photography, capturing stories that explore the human experience in an era of rapid change. My work explores themes of transformation—how people and landscapes shift over time, how history leaves its mark on a place, and how we find home in the ever-changing present moment.
I began my visual storytelling career documenting nomadic reindeer herders in Mongolia, supported by a Fulbright Fellowship. Since then, I have worked alongside environmental movements, Indigenous activists, and frontline communities, using photography to bear witness and connect personal narratives with larger global forces. My work follows the climate crisis as it unfolds in real time, shaping lives and reshaping landscapes.
Whether through portraiture or vast, atmospheric landscapes, I seek to capture the impermanence of the world around us.
I am available for assignments, collaborations, and commissions.
